Connections + celebrations with our Boulder community.

Small business synergy.

Since opening our doors we’ve been honored to be featured in some of Colorado’s leading publications, from 5280 to Edible Denver. But when fellow Boulder entrepreneur Kelsie Michelson— of Tectonic—featured us in their online journal, it felt like a different, more personal kind of milestone.

Initially connecting over our love of design, it’s been a pleasure to get to know Kelsie over the past several months. Our shared passion for building the small business community in Boulder, as well as our belief in the emotional and social impact of thoughtfully decorated spaces, has already generated countless opportunities and ideas for collaboration. Her enthusiastic support for Süti & Co. gave us an early boost of confidence in the design side of our business, and as we continue to grow our retail offerings, we look forward to contributing a few finishing touches to the Tectonic team’s stunning design-build projects.

We also enjoyed another serendipitous small business moment last month, when Süti & Co. was given the 2024 “Rising Star Award” from the Downtown Boulder Partnership. For us, this was a full-circle moment of celebrating with the community we’ve always felt so lucky to serve, and we are truly honored to be among the other bar-setting business owners who have helped shape the unique culture of our city.

As we anticipate the burst of activity that comes with warmer days, we look forward to connecting with even more of our neighbors and continuing to expand our creative partnerships. This spring, you can expect to see more live music, outdoor yoga and after-hours workshops at the café—plus the start of our seasonal Supper Club in May!

March Happenings

FLAVOR OF THE MONTH

A superpowered plant that looks like tiny buds of sunshine, chamomile has always held a special place in Andrea’s heart (just check out her tattoos!). So as we straddle this season of almost-spring, we’ll be featuring a Chamomile Shortbread with Strawberry Cream filling, perfect for the brighter days ahead.

EASTER TREATS

In addition to our colorful “nests” of miniature egg shortbread cookies, our Easter festivities this year will also feature a limited number of Swedish semla for holiday pre-order. Originally eaten on Fat Tuesday, these cardamom buns with almond paste and whipped cream have proved so addictive that Swedes now enjoy semla as a sort of anti-restrictions Lenten treat to be enjoyed all the way through Easter. If you know us, you know we’re all for that attitude of abundance!

SUPPER CLUB DATES ARE LIVE!

As promised, we are releasing our full calendar of Supper Club dates in advance this year—including a few vegetarian and gluten-free dinners. As a reminder, the menus for these events evolve up to the very last minute, reflecting the bounty of the seasons. We appreciate your trust in our spontaneous creative process, and can’t wait to host you again on the patio!

PSA: OLIVE OIL CAKES

We are absolutely bowled over by your love for these vegan sweets—and we intend to keep the slices coming! That said, for customers who want to purchase a whole olive oil cake, we need to insist on at least two days notice, if not more. These cakes are a labor of love, and we cannot guarantee availability without this advance notice.
