Opening today: Hytte & Co.
You’re invited!
As we wrap up the festivities from Süti & Co.’s third anniversary, we’re headed straight into the launch of our next adventure: the opening of Hytte & Co. After a successful soft-opening weekend, today marks the first time we are fully open to the public.
As a chef who has always had a passion for design, this opening is both a leap of faith and a dream realized. It would be impossible without the incredible team at Süti & Co.—many of whom have stepped into new leadership roles—as well as the support of pastry colleagues who have helped keep our kitchen on track as I spend more time at this second location.
Of course, many of you—our loyal community—have also enthusiastically supported this dream, whether by inspiring it through your countless design questions or by spreading the word throughout the broader Boulder community. This process has been an organic evolution since day one, and we are sure it will continue to unfold as you have a chance to experience Hytte & Co. firsthand.
Over time, the home goods we stock at Hytte & Co. may also shift our focus at Süti & Co.—as we move larger investment pieces to the design-focused shop and increasingly highlight smaller splurges and giftable items alongside our baked goods. We appreciate your flexibility—and look forward to hearing your input!—as we make these adjustments over time.
Housed in another of Boulder’s charming historic cottages, this shop draws inspiration from the holiday cabins of Denmark—generational properties that offer seasonal escapes to the mountains, the woods or the sea. Each of the artfully staged spaces at Hytte & Co. will offer an attainable vision of Scandinavian-inspired design, where clean lines, heritage textiles and well-loved objects only become more beautiful with time.
This opening also responds to a gap we’ve perceived in the design market—a need for a slower, more personal approach to interiors. While there is certainly a time and a place for hiring a professional designer, we also believe there is value in living into a home, taking time to discover how you use each room and gradually layering in pieces that bring a sense of meaning to those spaces.
Hytte & Co. responds directly to this need, empowering our customers to approach design as a natural evolution, rather than a race to the finish. Instead of a more-is-more mentality, our curated collection will promote an investment in heirloom-quality pieces, while showcasing the work of exceptional independent makers.

October Happenings at Süti & Co.
A Culture of Kindness
As summer has shifted into the hustle and bustle of fall, we’ve noticed an uptick in impatient energy from some of our guests. While we understand that back-to-school schedules and other stresses can make early fall a particularly intense time, we ask that you remember to treat our staff—and all who work in the service industry—with respect as we enter into our busiest season of the year.
Holiday Cookie Boxes
With the end-of-year festivities now in sight, we are gearing up for the launch of our signature holiday cookie box—which will be available for sale on a first-come-first-served basis, starting November 1st. These jewel box assortments of limited edition shortbread flavors are always one of our favorite creative offerings, and we craft just 75 to ensure an exceptional level of quality. This year, we are also excited to feature an illustrated cover for the boxes drawn by our very own team member, Leah Trumble.
Gift Boxes + Special Orders
As we quickly approach the gifting and entertaining season, we’d like to remind our community to place any time-sensitive holiday orders well in advance. With the opening of a second shop, our team will be juggling new roles over the coming months, so our ability to accommodate last-minute requests will be particularly limited.
