Gifts that show your gratitude.
Memories and milestones.
As a chef, a friend and certainly as a mother, my love language is creating special moments or finding thoughtful gifts for the people I cherish most. So if I’m being honest, I absolutely expect my nearest and dearest to show up for me on special occasions—especially on Mother’s Day.
Being a mom is simultaneously the most rewarding and the most thankless job in the world. Despite being essential to the day-to-day functioning of society, we tend to take the work of mothers for granted. So I’ve always felt that this holiday, moreso than other celebrations, is an exceptional opportunity to recognize the impact of our moms and show our gratitude.
Of course, shopping for stylish women isn’t always easy! So if you’re a mama who has been eyeing a little something at the cottage—don’t be shy about telling your spouse or children what they might get you this holiday. Or if you’re proactively looking to pull together a very special gift for the mom in your life, we’d be happy to help create a gift box customized to her style and interests.
My two cents? This isn’t the time to be practical. Moms spend too much time thinking about what they should do, so this is a perfect occasion to splurge on something delightful that they might not buy for themselves. Of course, almost everything on our shelves is both fashionable and functional, so you’ll have no issue checking both boxes at our shop!

Gifts for Grads
With Boulder being a college town, the other major milestone on our radar is graduation season. As these aspiring young professionals look to the future—perhaps with a bittersweet mix of excitement and anxiety—we like to think about gifts that can provide them with a bit of confidence. From heirloom-quality home goods, to handcrafted jewelry, we’ve curated a wide range of gifts that will make them feel just a bit more ready to take on the world.
Supper Club | Saturday, May 31st
Join us for a 4-5 course prix fixe meal on our patio, featuring the freshest produce of the season. This particular dinner will be gluten-free and also includes mocktail pairings and dessert. If you’ve yet to join us for one of these intimate dinners, it’s a lovely opportunity to meet like-minded neighbors from the Boulder community—and to learn a bit about the childhood and professional memories that drive Andrea’s creativity in the kitchen.
On Our Shelves
Miniature Artwork
As much as we love sourcing handcrafted goods from small makers overseas, there's something particularly exciting about connecting with an artist or artisan in our local community. Painter Marion Rothschild is one of our newest collaborators, and her stunning small watercolors have proved to be a charming (and popular!) addition to our offerings at the cottage.
Wooden Herb Strippers
Our various hand-carved and -crafted items at the shop come from a wide range of independent woodworkers, but few sell out faster than these wooden herb strippers. As gorgeous as they are functional, these everyday kitchen tools make meal prep far more enjoyable and efficient (especially during the herb-heavy days of summer!)
