Savoring the season—from al fresco supper clubs, to summertime sweets!

A culinary—and community—celebration.

When we set out to start a supper club series on the Süti & Co. patio, I knew what I was hoping to create and cultivate. Yet actually seeing that vision take shape has continued to surprise and delight me—largely because of you, dear friends, and the ways you have helped bring my dream “restaurant” to life.

At our supper clubs, there is only one seating: the table is yours for the evening. Because you have trusted us entirely with the menu, you can focus on the conversation, admire the Flatirons in the distance and simply relax under the stars. Seated communally, polite conversation quickly evolves into intimate storytelling and genuine laughter—sparking new and lasting friendships with neighbors you might otherwise pass by.

As the evening rambles on, you’ll experience a series of dishes with their own stories to tell. The ingredients are likely familiar, but the preparations may surprise you, as I share memories of the people, places and ingredients that have inspired the night’s menu.

Entering into July, we are already looking toward the end of the season, cherishing the elusive fruits of summer as they reach their peak. That’s why, for our August supper club (on Saturday, August 26th) we’ll be focusing on a single ingredient—the humble, yet utterly perfect summer tomato—with a series of dishes that showcase its fleeting seasonal beauty.

COOKIE OF THE MONTH

The morning of Süti’s opening day, it’s safe to say I was kind of freaking out. And then a little tiny lady walked through the door: “Hi Honey! What is this? I just wanted to poke my head in.” It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship with Priscilla, our neighbor, who brings us baked goods and fortifies us with her generous friendship. This month, we’ll be honoring her with a namesake cookie—a peaches and cream shortbread as sweet as Priscilla, herself.

LIVE MUSIC
Sunday June 30th, 3-6pm

We loved hosting you all on our patio last month for a live session with the inimitable Zivanai Masango, so we’re doing it again in July! This time around, we’ll be featuring singer-songwriter Lucas Wolf, whose storied career has spanned from days as a hitch-hiking busker to supporting such acclaimed bands as Leftover Salmon and Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

SUMMERTIME TREATS

Growing up with an Italian father, I’ve always had a soft spot for the country’s coffee culture, and affogato is one of its most unforgettable treats. Our version is a shot of espresso, poured over vanilla bean ice cream—we let you do the honors—served with a mini shortbread, of course. As the weather heats up, we’ll also be crafting homemade ice cream shortbread sandwiches, plus a super refreshing Blackberry Fauxjito made with muddled berries, mint, lime and sparkling water.

SEASONAL SMØRREBRØD

The latest addition to our ever-evolving menu of open-faced, Scandinavian-style toasts is a savory egg salad with microgreens. Small, but mighty, these little green sprigs come from the husband and wife team at Forever Green farms (who also provide us with our edible flowers!).
